The secnd race of the Catalonia Championship, held in Manlleu, was attended by 62 drivers. The race began in very foggy conditions.
The first round was won by Robert Batlle with a time of 9 laps in 5:22sec; second was Alex Calatayud with 9 laps in 5:24sec, and third was Jaume Figuls (Losi) with 5:30sec. The second round was won by Alex Brujas (Mugen) with a time of 9 laps in 5:25sec. Alex Calatayud had problems and in 7th position. Final results of rounds were; TQ Robert Batlle, 2nd Alex Brujas, 3rd Alex Calatayud, 4th Jaume Figuls, and 5th Patxi Pe?as with Nanda Racing.

Semi-final A was won by Robert Batlle, 2nd Alex Calatayud, and 3rd Albert Navarro (Hobao Hyper 8.5). Semi-final B was won by Javi Ortigosa (Losi), 2nd Jaume Figuls, and 3rd Lluis Franquesa (Associated).
The final started with these positions:

At the beginning of the final, Robert, Calatayud and Navarro moved away from others. At the 15min mark, the engine of Robert stopped (marshalling issue) and Calatayud jumped into first place. Robert dropped to 2nd place only 1 lap down from Alex. But in the third pit stop, Alex had problems in the pit stop and Robert took advantage of this to pass Alex and cross the line first. In the final result, the difference in time between Robert and Alex was only 3 seconds!
